[Case Study] Centralized Dust Collection of Factory Oil Mist with Custom-Made Mist Collector

Custom-designed and constructed dust collectors, providing what our customers need the most! Whether large or small, leave your dust collector installation considerations to us!

Company K, engaged in the metal cutting industry, has introduced a large number of cutting machines, resulting in insufficient dust collection. The air was constantly filled with oil mist, making it difficult to see across the room. Additionally, there were no suitable options in terms of budget or installation space. Therefore, we implemented a custom-made "mist collector" to consolidate the oil mist collection within the factory. The factory environment changed dramatically, and instead of expressions of gratitude, we received many surprised comments from the on-site employees. The company is currently using 14 of our mist collectors. Of course, each unit is custom-designed and constructed to meet specifications such as size, dust collection capacity, and duct pressure calculations, ensuring we provide what the customer needs most. Yoshida Industries is committed to addressing the concerns of those struggling with factory environments. Please feel free to consult with us. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or contact us at your convenience.*

[Case Study] Mismatch between Dust Collection Target and Dust Collector

The introduction of the dust collector has made waste disposal very easy, significantly improving both work time and running costs! If you are considering the introduction of a dust collector, leave it to us!

Company Y, which manufactures electronic components, found that no matter how many dust collectors recommended by major manufacturers were installed in their factory, the dust suction did not improve. They are constructing a new factory with the same processes, but they expressed concerns that if the new dust collectors were to perform poorly like the previous ones, it would be problematic, and they requested a solution. In response, we proposed and installed dust collectors suitable for the type of waste generated. We also suggested a waste discharge method tailored to the on-site working conditions and manufactured the dust collectors accordingly. As a result, there are no longer any issues with suction as there were before, and the cleanroom in the factory is being kept clean. Furthermore, waste discharge has become very easy, leading to significant improvements in both work time and running costs, and we have received positive feedback. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

[Construction Example] Mist Collection for a Manufacturer of Engine Parts and Others

The number of mist collectors is determined by the amount of mist dispersed! A case study in precision machining.

At Company Y, a manufacturer of engine parts, there was a significant issue with mist floating in the air due to the lack of dust collection equipment, resulting in a very poor working environment. Workers would open doors, allowing the mist to drift into the neighborhood. To address this, two mist collectors were installed for six machine tools, and ducts were laid out. Flexible aluminum connections were used for the end connections to each machine to provide flexibility. After installation, the mist dispersion ceased, leading to an improved working environment within the company. With the ability to work with doors closed, the entry of outside debris decreased significantly. [Case Summary] ■ Issues - The odor of oil was severe, leading to complaints from nearby residents. - The lack of dust collection equipment resulted in a high concentration of mist in the air, creating a very poor working environment. ■ Results - Mist dispersion ceased. - Complaints from the neighborhood stopped. - The working environment improved, allowing for work to be done with doors closed. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Clean Room Case] Mist Collection Device for Large 5-Axis Machining Center

By enclosing only locally instead of surrounding the entire device, efficient dust collection can be achieved without the need for a large dust collector.

We received a request from a customer who has large processing machines in their factory, wanting to prevent impurities such as dust from adhering to processed products, and also to ensure that processing powder does not scatter around. In response, we installed a "mist collection device for large 5-axis processing machines." By enclosing only specific areas instead of the entire device, we can efficiently collect dust without the need for a large dust collector. If you are struggling with effective dust collection methods, please feel free to contact us. We will do our best to provide suitable proposals on-site. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to reach out to us.

【Dust Collector Implementation Case】Collecting mist in the factory at one-third the cost!

It seems that they were satisfied with both the price and effectiveness of the dust collector introduction, and they have installed several similar units in another factory of the same company! If you are considering the introduction of a dust collector, leave it to us!

K Company, a precision machinery parts manufacturer, has newly introduced about 70 cutting machines. Along with this, they were considering the introduction of a dust collector that could handle the following conditions. Since cutting fluid is used, oil mist rises from the machines, creating a very poor environment in the factory. Furthermore, the permeability of the cutting fluid is very high, causing it to infiltrate even into the control panels attached to the cutting machines, which frequently led to malfunctions of the control panels. Installing individual small dust collection devices (mist collectors) was quite challenging, so it was decided to use one large-capacity dust collector to address the issue. Since it was stated that "the exhaust is within the factory premises, so some leakage is not a problem," a solution that had slightly inferior collection efficiency but was inexpensive (about one-third the cost of other manufacturers) and easy to maintain was proposed. As a result, the amount of mist drifting in the factory significantly decreased, visibility near the ceiling improved, and there were no more malfunctions of the control panels. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
